Karishma met Patnaik here at the Secretariat along with her father and the team of doctors who carried out the surgery on her. She was delighted to meet the Chief Minister and expressed her gratitude for his assurance. Patnaik also felicitated the doctors and wished an early recovery for the hapless girl.

A student of class-IX, Karishma is daughter of Md Yunus Khan of Sutahat area. She suddenly fell ill and was unable to move as her legs did not function, a few days ago.
