The State Government has decided to bear all the educational expenses of the differently-abled students interested to pursue technical education in the State-based Government and private educational institutions.
According to official sources here, the Government has decided that the differently-abled students taking admission in the Government colleges and universities need not pay the tuition fees. The Government will reimburse the fees paid by the differently-abled students for their education in the private institutions. The fees will be reimbursed as per the decision of fee structure committee, set up by the Government, the sources said.
It said that the step to reimburse the fees was taken to attract the differently-abled students towards technical education and help them become self- employed.
