The Youth Congress on Saturday alleged that large-scale corruption and financial misdealing are going on in the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) and the seizure of a huge sum of money and gold and detection of illegal possession of buildings from the Private Secretary to the OSSC Member is only a tip of the iceberg.
Youth Congress State president Dr Smruti Ranjan Lenka said that while lakhs of unemployed youths and students are living under tremendous pressure for their uncertain future, the corruption in the recruitment process of Government jobs has deprived thousands of eligible candidates of employment.
Lenka added that only targeting the lower grade officials over corruption is not enough. The Government is shielding higher officials and must find out them.
