Like several earlier years, the State Finance Department has started a pre-Budget consultation, requesting people from cross sections of the society to give their suggestions for preparation of the Annual Budget for the current financial year 2019-20.
“People can give suggestions by emailing to odisha.budget@gov.in or sending SMS to mobile no. 9438161111. The suggestions thus collected will be used as an input in the process of preparation of Annual Budget 2019-20,” Finance Minister Niranjan Pujari told reporters at the State Secretariat here.
He said common people, civil society organisations, advocacy groups, and other stakeholders have been requested to make use of this unique opportunity to participate in the Budget-making process of the State Government.
The facility is available from June 4 to 15, said Pujari.
The web-portal budget.odisha.gov.in displays all Budget-related documents, he added.
