The State Government has given permission to the Bharatiya Janata Party to hold a public rally at the Biju Patnaik Ground at Baramunda on Feb 11, which is to be addressed by its Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. The BJP had earlier sought permission for the Capital High School ground after being denied of permission for the Janata Maidan and Unit III Exhibition Ground in the city. According to party sources, the Commissionerate police has already given its consent to provide security support to the rally. Meanwhile, the party’s State president KV Singh Deo has launched website modiinodisha.in ahead of the rally. Besides, posters and music albums have also been released.
