The East Coast Railway (ECoR) on Monday informed that the manned level-crossing gate at Gopalpur Balikuda connecting the National Highway-5 and Trishulia would remain closed for road traffic from 11.30 pm of Tuesday (September 8) till 5am of Wednesday.
The level-crossing would be renovated during the time in view of doubling of Cuttack-Barang Railway Section, an official release said.
It also requested road users to cooperate with the Railways for smooth rail and road traffic in future. This is a very important project work for this region, it said.
