Giving’ starts at home. In world so full of ignorance and materialistic pleasures the spirituality of giving has been a matter of past. like every bad times come to an end this selfishness too shall meet its termination.
The struggle towards the great revolution of goodness has already started and one of the names that define it within our country will be “Art of Giving” (AOG), a vision that KIIT and KISS founder Dr Achyuta Samanta had to form for a prosperous and selfless country.
Never wait to have million dollars to start giving, give when you have that one dollar and the world will bow to your greatness.
Before running into economics of AOG, one simple question- What is AOGIJ AOG is every man’s or woman’s inner instinct to give or share what they have, be it wealth, knowledge, time and the like. AOG as such won’t have a specific definition because all AOG is a message of love to everyone in this society. That is why the starter- “giving begins at home”. You can start this by helping your mother make her and your bed.
Now to the cause, Pyaarbhara pack which is being held on May 17 which happens to be the International AOG Day. Pyaarbhara pack (feeding with love) like the name suggests is a gesture of love by serving the needy ones food that they don’t get. About 10,000 centres of AOG community, placed over 70 countries, spread across 2,000 cities, towns and blocks, feeding 1 crore kids is what AOG is going to achieve.
The final question of skeptics what good will just one meal and one day of work doIJ “Inspire”. The one word, that this whole world is starving of now. People need inspiration more than anything.
Any great work in the pages of history has been done based on inspirations, be it love, revenge or charity. If that one day of huge scale distribution brings a smile on the faces of the ones that needed that smile, won’t that be enough of a push to do something greater the next timeIJ
Saying that this wouldn’t be the first time about that AOG community will be doing so. Irrespective of this, all you have to do is find a space of AOG living in you, which makes you a little more human. That is why the name- “I AM AOG”.
Start with helping that one friend who needs your help is that is all that you can afford to do but then do something. It would be a greater deed if you gave even when you don’t have that one dollar. Give the support, love or your knowledge that you couldn’t get to the one that could use it for a better world. I as a member of this community want that this event to go into our minds when all of us become AOG just for a day and the world would become a place which would be a little less abandoned.
