Pinki Suna (16) at Talmenda Hiratikra under Bheden Police limits of Bargarh district was killed by two youths of the village.
The accused - Deben Barik(24) and Rajib Bhoi(21) - attempted to rape her and then poisoned her on Saturday.
Pinki(16) and Purnima (13), daughters of Kartika Suna had gone to a tailor at 12 am. The culprits dragged Pinki forcibly near a country liquor factory of the village and attempt to rape her and gave her poison when she was lying senseless there.
locals rescued Pinki and brought her to the Bheden hospital. later she was shifted to the VIMSAR, Burla. However, she died there on Wednesday.
Kartika Suna loaded a FIR against the two youths on Saturday. But the police first did not receive his FIR.
