Union Minister of State for MSME Giriraj Singh visited the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) and the KIIT University on Saturday.
He went round the various campuses of KIIT and units of KISS and addressed the 25,000 KISS students.
Singh said, “I have not done one per cent of the work that Dr Achyuta Samanta, founder of KISS, has done in my 30 years of public life. In our country, there are many millionaires and billionaires, but I have not seen any one of them having done the kind of work done by Dr Samanta.”
He also joined the Chhat Puja organised by the KIIT students from Bihar, Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh. He said students have their duty to study while teachers have their duty to teach. Every citizen of the country has their duty towards prosperity, unity and security of the nation.
