The Dharamsala police and tehsil administration have sealed a GI factory near Rathia in Jajpur district after Dharamsala PS IIC Saroj Kumar Sahu launched a surprise attack on the unit.
The company, which is run by the Amaresh Industries, imports iron ore and converts it into steel and GI material and supplies them to various regions. The issues related to alleged incorrect transactions. The company authorities were unable to submit the required documents.
The police informed the tehsil administration and Dharamsala Additional Tehsildar Shital Agrawal arrived at the spot and sealed the factory.
However, further investigation into the matter was underway. It was learned that action would be taken after the investigation.
