The 79th birthday of former State Finance Minister Prafulla Chandra Ghadai was celebrated at Danagadi in Jajpur district on Thursday.
On the occasion, Ghadai said that the State Government is committed to the betterment of women fraternity. He highlighted the various steps undertaken by the Naveen Patnaik Government for the welfare of the poor tribals.
“Sukinda is where my heart is. I will continue to do whatever possible on my part for the people of this area till by last breath,” Ghadai added.
A book on Ghadai’s works titled ‘Biswakarma’ was released on the occasion. Among others, Sukinda Pujya Puja Sansad president Gobardhan Samal was present.
