Workers should unite to bring the Congress back to power in Odisha, said All India Congress Committee (AICC) Secretary for Gujarat Dr Biswaranjan Mohanty at a felicitation programme held here on Tuesday.
Mohanty said Niranjan Patnaik after being PCC president has formed a new team and aimed to strengthen the party in all districts. Surely, the party would come to power, he added.
State Youth Congress general secretary Dr Srutiranjan lenka said if the youth and student wing workers would be more active at the grassroots-level the party’s different programmes would be successful.
Among others, district Congress president Trinath Behera, working president Deepak Patnaik, Nagar president Pramod Jena, Brahmapur youth Congress president Anil Parida, district members Brundaban Khatai, Bijayraj Panigrahi, A Balakrishna, M Dandapani, S Kumar Swammy, Dharma Reddy, Biswajit Dalai, Rabi Adhikari and Sunil Mahankuda were present.
