Results of the All Odisha Geography Talent Test and Social Science Olympiad-2015 were published on Thursday. Koustuv Ray of the DM School, Bhubaneswar bagged the first position while Ashutosh Mishra of the Ispat EM School at Rourekela came out second and Arijit Sahoo of the CJ High School, Madhapur in Baragarh district and Raj Panda of the Bajirout Shiksha Niketan at Rourkela finished third in the geography test.
In the Social Science Olympiad, Sahil Mohanty of the St Paul’s School, Rourkela became first while Satyajit Behera of the Saraswati Vidymandir, Angul and Samarjit Sahoo of Saraswati Vidymandi, Jajpur Town came out second and third, respectively.
A total of 2,376 students from 17 districts had participated in the test held in November, 15 last year. The first, second and third position holders would be given prizes by the All Odisha Geography Teachers’ Society at a function to be held in Bhubaneswar in February.
