In view of an agitation in Gujarat, the Gandhidham-Puri Express and the Ahmedabad-Puri Express, which were scheduled to leave Gandhidham and Ahmadabad, respectively, on August 26 have been cancelled. Resulting this, the Puri-Gandhidham Express and the Puri-Ahmedabad Express scheduled to leave Puri on Saturday will also be cancelled.
In another incident, train service in lanjigarh Road and Junagarh was affected on Thursday due to rail-roko agitation. As a result, the Junagarh Road-Bhubaneswar-Junagarh Road Express from Junagarh was cancelled on Thursday and the train from Bhubaneswar will be cancelled on the Friday. The Bhubaneswar-Junagarh Road Express, which was scheduled to leave Bhubaneswar on Thursday will run upto Rayagada and remain cancelled between Rayagada and Junagarh Road.
