Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange on Sunday took part in a cleanliness campaign being organised by the Team Clean City for over three weeks in Brahmapur.
Kulange participated in the campaign organised at PVN Rao Petrol Pump Square here and peeled off posters stuck on the walls near the area along with the members of the organisation.
“The step taken by the citizens of the city is praiseworthy. Action would be taken against those institutions that are sticking bills on city walls indiscriminately,” Kulange said.
He also said that the educational institutions, private bodies and cinema halls have also been asked to refrain from sticking bills. He added that those not following the directive would be fined.
Notably, the ‘Team Clean City’ has been on a mission of making the city clean and green.
