In a shocking incident, a woman teacher died while the condition of her teacher-husband turned critical after a suicide attempt by them at Dengadi under the Patapur police limits in Ganjam district on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Shailendri Mohanty. Her husband Jayasen Mohanty has been admitted to the MKCG Medical College Hospital here for treatment and his condition was stated to be critical.
Jayasen and Shailendri had tied the nuptial knot two years ago. The reason behind their taking the extreme step was yet to be known.
