Revenue Inspector (RI), Bhismagiri Circle under Digapahandi Tehsil, Ganjam, A Srikant Kumar Dora was arrested in a bribery case on Tuesday.
Dora was caught red-handed while demanding and accepting the illegal gratification of Rs 5,000 from complainant Subash Chandra Panda of Bhismagiri village, Digapahandi, in order to conduct demarcation of a disputed land.
Dora's residential house at Gosaninuagaon, Brahmapur and office room at Bhismagiri Circle under Digapahandi Tehsil, Ganjam were searched. A case was registered in this connection by the Vigilance.
