The Ganjam District Consumer Bar Association on Friday threatened to hold a dharna from December 3 if the president and members of the Circuit Bench of the Odisha State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Brahmapur are not appointed by December 2.
This was informed by association president Kailash Chandra Mishra.
Mishra said that the State Government had on August 17, 2017 decided to open a Circuit Bench in Brahmapur.
Later on February 19, 2018, the Government published an advertisement for the appointment of the President and members for the bench but they have not been appointed yet, said Mishra.
