The Ganjam Bar Association on Monday decided to intensify its agitation for establishment of a permanent Bench of the Orissa High Court at Brahmapur.
The association planned to organise a massive bike rally here for greater public awareness, in which at least 300 members of it are likely to take part.
On Friday, members of the bar had staged a Satyagraha before the District Court premises putting Mahamta Gnadhi’s photo.
“The two decade-long agitation of the lawyers would no longer be confined to the court premises only. The bar members have started mobilising the public for their participation on the just demand of the region,” said bar secretary Pradeep Kumar Behera.
