The second Loka Kala Mahotsav, Tampara Utsav and Pallishree Mela, which was being held at Chhatrapur Stadium by the Ganjam district administration, concluded on its fifth day on Sunday.
Bollywood singer Ruturaj Mohanty was the main attraction on the concluding day. While Kukudakhandi’s D Haribandhu and Group performed Krushna Leela, Narendrapur’s Gayatri Jugal Sankhha played Jodi Sankha (dual conches). While Digapahandi’s Bichitra Barnali Natya Sansad presented ‘Dhuduki Nacha’, Brahmapur’s Real Star Dance Academy modern dance and Aradhya Dance Academi Sambalpuri dance.
Besides, Odisha dances performed by Argentina’s Aanadini Dasi and Aruna Pradhan enthralled the audience. Chhatrapur MLA Subash Chandra Behera, ZP Chairperson Sonam Pallai, vice-chairperson Snehalata Panda and block Chairman M Dhananjaya Reddy attended the meeting presided over by Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange.
Chhatrapur’s Kalu Charan Tripathy, Sanakhemundi’s Ramaraja Guru and Syam Sundar Panigrahi and Bhanjanagar’s Kalu Charan Sahu were felicitated on the occasion.
