In what is called as a surprise move to assess the grim reality of what is being told or what is not, Ganjam Collector Vijay Amrit Kulange made a sudden appearance wearing PPE kits in MKCG Covid hospitals along with his team. Kulange interacted with the patients, enquired about their health,asked them about treatment, etc.
The DM also checked the availability of Oxygen; its supply, storage and utility besides these Kulange also verified patient care and facilities available in this dedicated Covid hospital. Sources close to this correspondent that there have been frequent complain of mismanagement in Covid hospitals, controversy regarding oxygen supply and irregularities in patient care. The Collector and his team’s visit to the dedicated Covid hospital has been appreciated widely and patients felt happy for being enquired.
