The District Congress Committee (DCC), Ganjam held its executive meeting here on Friday under the chairmanship of its president Dr Trinath Behera.
The party leaders discussed various problems of the district and decided measures as to how the party would perform better in coming elections.
They decided to go to people and make them aware of the BJD Government’s negligence towards Ganjam district and hooliganism being resorted to by BJD workers.
Leaders also discussed about the scheduled visit of PCC president Niranjan Patnaik to the district in January.
The DCC sent greetings to AICC president Rahul Gandhi for overwhelming performance of the Congress in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh elections.
