large numbers of BJD workers of Ganjam district here on Sunday burnt effigies of Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and suspended BJD MP Baijayant Panda while accusing them responsible for attack on the house of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s Private Secretary V Karthikeyan Pandian in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.
Minister Usha Devi, MlAs Pradeep Kuamr Panigrahi, Dr RC Chyaupatnaik and Dr Priyansu Pradhan, Mayor K Madhavi, Deputy Major Jyotsna Nayak, Uma Nayak, Anil Sahu, Bhishmacharya Choudhury, Subash Behera, Jagannath Sabat, Bijay Samal, Sanghamitra Dalei were present, among many others.
The leaders condemned the attack on Pandian’s house in strong words.
