Child artist and student of Nrityam Kala Gabeshana Kendra (NKGK-Hinjili) E Sanchita Patra got first position in the State level Odishi dance competition held at Rabindra Mandap in Bhubaneswar recently.
The event was organised by Pragnya Nrutyayana and the performance of Sanchita thrilled the audience and received rave reviews. Dignitaries like MLA Ananta Naryan Jena, Padmashri Aruna Mohanty, Guru Dhaneswar Swain and Sudhir Ranjan Mishra were on the dais as guests. Naba Prativa Talent director Guru Pradeep Kumar Mohanty was present during the award distribution ceremony. Sanchita previously had been awarded at national and international level bringing glory to Hinjilicut and Ganjam district too.
Guru Krushna Chandra Sahu said Sanchita desired to be a special identity in Odishi dance and in field of acting.
President of Nrityam Nilamani Pattnaik and the locals in Ganjam district conveyed their wishes and congratulated Sanchita on her success.
