Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel on Monday arrested a person and seized 12.2 kg of ganja at the Bhubaneswar railway station .
The accused, identified as Rabibur Alam, was planning to smuggle the contraband to West Bengal by the Yashovantpur-Howrah Duronto Express.Suspecting Alam’s movements at the railway station while waiting for the train, the RPF personnel frisked him and seized the ganja.
During interrogation, Alam revealed he brought the ganja from Koraput to Bhubaneswar by bus. He was then supposed to smuggle the contraband item from Bhubaneswar to Rampur in Kolkata.
