The Commissionerate Police on Friday arrested three persons involved in ganja trade at Kalinga Nagar of the city.
The police forwarded the trio to a local court in the morning.
The persons were identified as Prakash Chandra Pradhan, Narayan Pradhan and Santosh Kumar Khuntia presently staying in the city.
Twin City Commissioner of Police Dr RP Sharma said they were bringing ganja from Koraput district to market it in New Delhi and Kolkata. They were keeping the banned material at a house (Plot no 756) in the Kalinga Nagar area under the Khandagiri police limits.
Police seized ganja weighing 375kg worth over `12 lakh, a motorcycle, five number plates, three mobiles and hard cash of `32,000 from the possession of the smugglers.
