Eminent Gandhian, columnist and lawyer Prahalallad Kumar Sinha has announced to donate his body organs after death.
For this, he has submitted his willingness in writing to lok Sevak Mandal-run Body and Organ Donation Campaign chairman Dr Prabhas Acharya. Sinha, who has so far donated blood 53 times, has mentioned that he would donate his body to a private medical college and hospital in Bhubaneswar after his death.
His family members have also given consent to his willingness.
Besides, Sinha has also mentioned that he would be happy if his eyes, heart, liver, kidney and other organs help any other persons to lead a healthy life. He has also requested family members not to cremate his body and conduct post-death rituals.
