Suspension of IPS officer and former Kendrapada SP Satish Gajbhiye has been extended by 95 days.
Sources in the Home Department on Saturday said the decision was taken at a meeting presided over by the Chief Secretary recently.
Earlier in November last, Gajbhiye’s suspension had been extended by six months. Gajbhiye was placed under suspension on August 13 last, six days after the brutal police action against locals at Kendrapara, who were agitating against self-styled godman Sanjay Raul alias Sarathi Baba.
