Even as the State Government is awaiting inquiry reports to decide on action against former Kendrapada SP Satish Gajbhiye for his alleged excesses during the agitation against Sarathi Baba, Gajbhiye has threatened to move the court if the Government takes action against him.
In an exclusive interview to a TV channel aired this evening, Gajbhiye sought to drag the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) into the incident claiming that he was in constant touch with the CMO all through the stand-off with the agitating people and was regularly briefing it on the ground situation.
“My conscience says I have done nothing wrong. I have taken appropriate action as demanded by the situation. I will move court if the Government takes action against me,” said Gajbhiye.
Reiterating the assertion he made on his now-deleted post on Facebook on Saturday night, Gajbhiye said there was no evidence against Sarathi Baba.
