A schoolteacher in Gajapati district has allegedly uploaded obscene pictures of his estranged wife on social media. He has been arrested following a complaint lodged by the woman.
According to reports, Ganteda Satish (27), who works as a teacher at an upper primary school at Partada village under Kashinagar block, had divorced his wife a few years after marriage and later married another woman.
Even after the divorce, he, out of his anger with his first wife, uploaded her obscene pictures on social media by creating fake accounts. He also allegedly uploaded pictures of his intimate moments with her.
However, not knowing her divorced husband’s mischief, the woman lodged a police complaint alleging that some miscreants have uploaded her obscene pictures and videos on social media.
Following the complaint, the Paralakhemundi police began an investigation and arrested Satish and are now interrogating him.
“We have seized a mobile phone from the accused. Several objectionable pictures and videos were there in the phone. We are further investigating the case,” said Police sources
