In yet another shocking incident, Chintakala Santosh Kumar (25), a labourer of Khandba village in Gajapati district, was killed in Andhra Pradesh on Friday.
Santosh was working as daily worker in a construction company at Tirupati in the neibhouring State. Santosh died as some iron rods fell on him.When contacted, district Collector Basudev Bahinipati said an investigation would be initiated into the matter soon. He said the body would be brought to his village and all kind of assistance would be provided to the family.The villagers have demanded a compensation Rs 5 lakh for Santosh’s family.
