A total of 109 polling booths have been identified as highly sensitive in Gajapati district. While 55 booths come under the Mohana Assembly constituency, 54 are in Paralakhemundi Assembly segment, official sources said.
Presiding over an election review meeting, district Collector Basudev Bahinipati asked all the concerned officials to ensure implementation of model code of conduct in letter and spirit.The Collector assured that adequate security forces would be deployed in these sensitive booths to avoid possible untoward incidents.Among others, ADM Sunil Kumar Nayak, DRDA PD Sudhakar Durga and Sub-Collector Biswajit Biswal were present.
