To cater to the need of people in the district headquarters town of Khordha for a full-fledged pathology lab and a high-quality diagnostics service based on dry chemistry technology with state-of-the-art local lab, the Hope Diagnostics and Research Laboratory has set up a unit here from April 15.
The laboratory has opened its sample collection centre in front of the main gate of the District Headquarters Hospital and would function as a full-fledged pathology lab for the people of Khordha and adjoining areas.
So far, all critical tests are done outside Khordha with locals approaching the small diagnostic centres here which eventually send the samples to somewhere else for test or they travel to Bhubaneswar for getting the tests done.
With the Hope Diagnostics’ lab, the patients need not have to go outside for blood and other tests. The doctors of the area can get reliable diagnostics reports of their patients on time.
