The eye donation of deceased Kandula Saraswati (92) of 3rd Lane, Gandhi Nagar area of Brahmapur was held. This was the 23rd eye donation drive of Friends Helping Club, Brahmapur. The family members came forward for eye donation with the initiative of G Nageswara Rao and accordingly Dr Subhasree Sahu, Dr Smriti Ranjan Dhar, Dr Ruchitra Nayak of Eye Department, MKCG Medical College Hospital, Brahmapur under the direction of Dr Suchitra Das,(HOD) collected both the eye balls of the deceased at her residence.
Members of Friends Helping Club V Satyanarayana, P Venkat Rao Patro, Jammula Suresh and family members of the deceased, such as Ch Rabindranath, G Nageswara Rao, V Santosh Kumar and K Santosh were present.
