Perturbed over many seats still vacant in Plus Two and Plus Three classes after the second phase admission process, the Higher Education Department has issued another notification for fresh admission into these classes for the current academic session. Sources in the department said a total of 95,258 seats and 45,971 seats are still vacant in the Plus Two and Plus Three streams, respectively.
As decided, there would be only offline admissions in these vacant seats now. Students have been advised to apply offline to their choice colleges between August 31 and September 4. The name of the selected candidates for admission would be published in the respective college notice boards on September 7 while the admission would be held onSeptember 8 and 9.
Students who have already taken admission will not be allowed to take fresh admission. The notification has also made it clear self-financing colleges would not participate in the fresh admission process.
