Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday distributed free laptops to meritorious students under the Biju Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana and gave away prizes to successful girl students in the self-defence programme at college levels.
Attending the programme at the Jayadev Bhawan here, Patnaik said the Odisha State Youth Policy launched in 2013 is part of his Government’s ceaseless efforts for an all-round development of the youth in the State.
“Technology plays a vital role in today’s society. The State Government is distributing laptops under the Biju Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana in order to help students realise their full potentials,” said Patnaik.
