The Freethought Party of India (FPI) hailed a few recent judgments delivered by the Supreme Court Benches headed by Chief Justice of India Justice Dipak Misra. The one on the question of the release of Sanjay leela Bhansali’s Film ‘Padmaavat’ and the other regarding Hadiya love Jehad allegation case .
Misra already diffused the crisis to a great extent by re-allocating CBI Judge BH loya’s death case to a Bench headed by himself and, moreover, transferring all the relevant PIls regarding the case to his Bench.
The other key case relating to the “medical scam” involving many corrupt middle men including a retired judge of the Orissa HC is there to be re-allotted to a new Bench.
