Four youths were killed in two separate road accidents in Sundargarh district on Sunday night. All the four were coming to their houses by two bikes. Sewan Surin (25) of Bonei area died on the spot and critically injured Ranjit Kulla (26) of Ranibandh in Rajgangpur area died in the hospital.
They met with the accident when a Scorpio car coming from their opposite side had head on collision with their bike at Jhagarpur on the State Highway-10 under the Rajgangpur police limits. Following the death of the youths, locals blocked the SH 10 at Jhagarpur demanding compensation for deceased’s family. After getting assurance from the Rajgangpur BDO B Bhoi and SDPO SK Panigrahi, irate locals vacated the road after an hour. In the other accident, two youths identified as Rinku Bhainsal and Tinku Bhainsal both belonged to Sapnabira village died on the spot when their bike hit a tree at Bartankela under the lepripada police limits.
