Forum demands probe by OCA Lokpal

The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) has blatantly flouted the Lodha Committee guidelines and committed huge irregularities in the distribution of passés for the India-South Africa T20 match to be held at the Barabati Stadium on Sunday, alleged the All India Anti-Corruption Organisation.

In a complaint lodged with the OCA Lokpal Justice MM Das, the organisation said for the matches 10 per cent passes should be issued in comparison to the tickets. But the OCA in a nexus with some Government officials has issued more than 20,000 passes. This has led to a controversy over the ticket distribution.

Though the Government officials have knowledge about it, they never made any effort to stop this irregularity.

A large number of passes are being sold by beneficiaries at exorbitant price in black market. The   officials and the OCA are involved in this, alleged the organisation. In the past also the OCA has resorted to the same modus operandi with the connivance of the officials, alleged the organisation.

Organisation convenor Subrat Kumar Nanda has lodged a complaint with OCA Lokpal requesting him to conduct a probe and take appropriate action.
