The State Government will bear all expenses for the treatment of the eldest son of deceased Bhuban Padhi of Pandara Sahi in Brahmapur.
Padhi’s eldest son, who is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar for suspected food poisoning, would get the assistance from the State Treatment Fund.
This was revealed by Brahmapur MlA Ramesh Chandra Chau Patnaik after meeting Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here on Thursday.
It may be noted that as many as five members of the Padhi family, including Bhuban Padhi, died after consuming contaminated food at a feast.
