All flights from and to the Veer Surendra Sai (VSS) Airport in Jharsuguda have been cancelled due to bad weather, an airport official informed.
Flights scheduled to arrive and depart at the VSS Airport were cancelled in view of incessant rains and the prevailing weather on Tuesday, the official added.
Earlier in the day, an Air Alliance flight (ATR 76) from Bhubaneswar to Jharsuguda had to return back to the State capital due to bad weather in the western Odisha town.
The flight later departed for Ranchi from Bhubaneswar at 1.05 pm.
Meanwhile, no flights have so far been cancelled at the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar, an airport official said.
