The Simulia police have registered a case of murder against five members of a family following a complaint that they were involved in the killing of a person who had been staying with them as a son-in-law for long. Complainant Purnachandra Panigrhai alleged that his brother Banamali was killed by his in-law family members recently. Banamali had married to one Sanju Palaka, daughter of Ramakant Palak of Begunia village in Baleswar district, and had been staying with them since marriage. Recently he was found hanging from a tree. In-law family members killed my brother over a family feud and later hanged him from a tree to give it a shape of suicide, Purnachandra alleged in his complaint.
