The Goasain Nuagaon police on Monday took three allegedly accused on a three-day remand for their alleged involvement in the firing on former Brahamapur Municipal Corporation (BeMC) Mayor Shiba Shankar alias Pintu Das.
Earlier, the police had approached the court to take the trio on a remand of three days to unearth more facts about the case.
It might be mentioned here that the accused Budu Dash, Sandeep Agarwal and Sunil Gantayat had opened fire at Pintu near the Nilakanteswar temple on January 11, 2018.
