BJP Cuttack district general secretary Ramnarayan Mohanty filed an FIR in Athagarh police station against local MLA and senior Cabinet Minister Ranendra Pratap Swain and NAC EO Ashalata Rachamal alleging their gross violation of Covid-19 rules.As per the report on Thursday, Athagarh NAC Executive Officer Rachamal had organised a meeting at the premises of Athagarh Block Office to distribute work orders to housing scheme beneficiaries and financial assistance to the street side vendors where Minister Swain acted as the chief guest and hundreds of BJD party workers, beneficiaries of the above schemes and some Government officials were present without following the Covid-19 rules. Over 500 beneficiaries of Awas Yojana and street vendors gathered and received the sops from Minister Swain.
