The office bearers of the Odisha Subordinate Finance Service (local Fund Audit) Association had a discussion on their demands with the Director of local Fund Audit Pradeep Kumar Biswal on June 19.
There was a point-to-point discussion on the demands like holding timely DPC at different levels for promotion of audit personnel, promotional avenues of audit cadre personnel in the newly created Directorate, upgradation of Grade Pay of Audit Superintendents, timely sanction of ACP/RACP and pension to retired employees etc.
The Director said that steps have already been taken to hold DPC for the post of Audit Superintendents and assured that framing of a separate Cadre Rule is in process so as to effect promotion of the audit personnel to their higher posts like Additional Audit Officers and two posts of Assistant Directors in the Directorate.
Biswal further assured that sanction of personal claims like ACP/RACP and pension to retired employees is to be made up-to-date shortly. A committee has been formed in this regard, he said. Besides, other matters like timely completion of audit, necessary changes in the present audit system and the difficulties being faced by the audit personnel in the field were also discussed.
The Director suggested that the audit personnel must be sincere in completing their assignment timely and in transparent manner. BB Hota, Jadumani Das, PK Odu, Chinmay Pratap and former president of the association Jagabandhu Das, among others held the discussion.
