Santanu Rout, agent of Spandana Finance Company here, was robbed of Rs 50,000 cash on Monday afternoon between Khuntakata and Nuabandha village road.
As per the FIR lodged by Rout in the Athagarh police station, when he was returning from the field after collecting the company’s funds, two motorcyclists followed him and snatched his money bag at gun point.
Meanwhile, the police have started an inquiry.
