The Underground Road Sangrama Samiti on Friday met Police Commissioner YB Khurania and thanked him for making the underpass at Saheed Nagar motorable as per his assurance.
Notably, Samiti members had withdrawn a road blockade recently after ACP Kishore Chandra Mund, on behalf of Khurania, promised them that the underpass would be made operational in four days.
Residents of VSS Nagar and 15 nearby mouzas had blocked the road on June 11.
