Six days after the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), Khordha district sent a notice to Budhia Singh: Born to Run film producer Ajit Andhare asking for wonder kid Budhia Singh’s whereabouts, Andhare on Friday sent a letter to the CWC seeking leave for Buddhia till August 5 to promote the film.
The Manoj Vajpayee-starrer film is scheduled to hit the screens on August 5.
Sources said the CWC received the letter on Friday. The producer requested the CWC to grant Budhia another period of leave from July 24 to August 5. Notably, Buddhia, who had left the Government-run Sports Hostel for home onMay 10, is yet to return. later, Buddhia and his mother Sukanti were later found holidaying in Kodaikanal in Tamil Nadu with support of the film producer.
The CWC which had earlier sent a notice to film producer Andhare said the latter’s letter would not be responded to as he has not given any reply to its notice yet.
