One Gopal Krushna Behera of Palakana village has been ostracised by the fellow villagers. The familyon Sunday approached the Nikirai police for justice, informed Nikirai police station IIC Pramod lenka.
lenka said Gopal krushna Behera lodged an FIR that the fellow villagers have restricted his family from water supply, giving grocery items from the village shop, besides imposing other forms non-cooperation.
Even, the villagers allegedly took all his black gram and green gram stocks forcibly.
The complainant also alleged that a small front portion of his house portico was destroyed as some villagers instigated the concerned authority for the demolition on the ground of encroachment of the village road.
As he filed a case against the villagers in this regard, they held a meeting and decided to boycott his family, lenka said.
“If the villagers do not cooperate with Gopalkrushna’s family, we will take legal action,” the IIC added.
