In a gruesome incident in Pallahara block of Angul district, a man shot and critically injured his son over a family feud. The incident sent shockwaves in the area.
Sources said the victim identified as Rabi Nayak of Kantala Dakasahi village under the Pallahara police station had a heated altercation with his father over some domestic matter.
Suddenly, livid with rage Rabi’s father pulled out a gun and fired at him. Bleeding profusely, the critically injured youth was rushed to the SCB Medical College Hospital in Cuttack later. Police have reached the spot and started investigation into the matter.
